Kwan Ka-Chun hat mal wieder seine Hausaufgaben vergessen und muss jetzt eine dicke Strafarbeit schreiben. Thema: „Wenn ich groß bin“. Was für eine Aufgabe! Kwan Ka-Chun weiß doch noch gar nicht, was er mal werden will. Arzt – so wie seine Mutter es gern sehen würde? Oder Ingenieur – ein Beruf, den seine Großmutter bewundert? Und dann trifft er noch auf diesen seltsamen alten Mann. Und der taucht sogar in Kwan Ka-Chuns Träumen auf.

Annie Yau
Director, producer Annie Yau, began her career in Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) in 2000. She was a producer who mainly produced documentary and educational programme.
RTHK is the sole public broadcaster in the HKSAR. Its primary obligation is to serve all audiences. From 1971 to 2020, RTHK produces programmes on seven school ETV subjects for the Education Bureau. Annie participated in the production of school programmes. In 2019, she produced Shorts: My Grandmother, which expresses how a girl remembers her late grandmother who always instils in her optimism and positive energy; and Shorts: Snap Chat which is a story about how a misunderstanding caused by inappropriate use of social media platforms affects relationships in real life. These two films of English Language Education won the Award of Recognition in the Indie Fest Film Award (February 2019).
She participated in the production of the ABU Children’s Drama Co-Production 19th Series, which is an annual co-production initiative developed in co-operation with the Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) and the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU). In this Co-production, she directed the drama “When I Grow Up”.
