The Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis, as part of its industry programme "MOP-Industry", wants to be a meeting place and an opportunity for exchange between debut and up-and-coming filmmakers and experts in the film industry. Relevant focal points of the festival will be discussed on various podiums. In the panels and workshops, filmmakers and festival guests will have the opportunity to talk to experts about the development of the film landscape in the German-speaking world.

MOP-MEETINGS (CO-PRO MEETING)
The Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis is the most concentrated meeting place for debut film directors and producers of young German-language film. In order to deepen the cooperation between representatives of young cinema from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg as well as the Netherlands and South Tyrol and to exchange possibilities for financing through international co-productions, a co-production meeting is intended to bring actors together.

SPEED-DATING
The Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis offers the Speed-Dating contact exchange for interested trade visitors. The event was created more than 14 years ago to promote contacts between accredited filmmakers, authors and producers during the festival week.
