Welcome to the industry accreditation of the 46th edition of the Max Ophuels Film Festival! 

Accreditation Period

The accreditation period is from 1st November to 20st December, 2024, 12:00 p.m. (noon).

Accreditation is open to professionals from the film industry, representatives of film associations or film institutions as well as filmmakers.

We only offer dual accreditation, which allows you to attend events on site and access the streaming offer on the website of the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis.

Accreditation fees for industry professionals

Regular accreditation (until 20.12.2024, 12.00 p.m.) € 80,-
Early Bird (until 25.11.2024, 12.00 p.m.) € 60,-
Discounted accreditation (for students, cinema & distribution) € 40,-
Last Minute (anything after 20.12.2024, 12.00 p.m.) + €15,-


Accreditation procedure

If you were accredited in previous years, you will be sent a personalized link to the accreditation form via email by 15th November, 2024. 
If you are accrediting for the first time or are a student from a film school, film and media study programs or from a Saarland university, please send us an email to akkreditierung@ffmop.de including the following information:  

  • First and last name, contact details (telephone, email, address), job title or name of your educational institution
  • Filmmakers: filmography and, if you have, a proof of membership of a professional association
  • Students: certificate of enrollment

Inquiries from teachers with student groups from film schools are also welcome. Please contact the Head of Accreditation, Ana Rivtina (akkreditierung@ffmop.de / +49 681 9068921 / +49 163 9896935).
After your accreditation request, you will be sent a confirmation by email, which will include the bank account details of the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis. Please transfer the accreditation fee by 27th December, 2024. You will receive a receipt of payment by 31st January, 2025, that is valid as an invoice. As your accreditation badge is only valid with a photo, please upload a recent photo (JPG / maximum size 8 MB). 


Industry accreditation includes

  • Upon availability:
    • Film tickets to the screenings on site. The film program can also be streamed ONCE.
    • Ticket for the festival opening (seat in the secondary hall) on Monday, 20st January, 2025, 7:00 p.m. on site. Further information will be announced by email in January.
    • Ticket for the award ceremony on Saturday, 25th January, 2025, 7:00 p.m. and entry to the film party.
    • Access to the industry program MOP-Industry. 
  • Entry to the festival club Lolas Bistro.
  • Listing in the MOP Industry Overview (if requested).
  • A festival magazine.


Pick-up accreditation documents

The accreditation documents will be available for you in the Festival Café from Monday, 20st January, 2025. More information on the opening hours and location of the Festival Café will follow in January.

All documents are personalized and can only be collected by a third party with a written authorization.

In addition to the accreditation documents, you will receive an email with your personal code for the online ticket shop for industry professionals and your personal ticket ID for streaming.


Ticket purchase for cinema and industry events

Film tickets and tickets for the industry events can be purchased exclusively in the online ticket shop for industry professionals (ffmop-akkreditierung.reservix.de). (If you are asked to log in or pay, you are not in the online ticket shop for industry professionals. To purchase tickets you only need the code on your accreditation pass, which you received by email).

This ticket shop opens at the start of the festival. It is not possible to register beforehand.
