Welcome to the press accreditation of the 47th edition of the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis!

The accreditation period is from 1 November to 19 December, 2025, 12:00 p.m. (noon).
Accreditation is open to journalists and media representatives from print, radio, television and online sectors with a current editorial assignment.

We only offer dual accreditation, which allows you to attend events on site and access the streaming offer on the website of Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis.


Accreditation procedure
You can choose between fee-based and fee-free press accreditation.
The price for fee-based press is € 40,- (incl. 7% VAT) within the accreditation period. After that period, the fee-based accreditation costs € 60,- (incl. 7% VAT).

If you are seeking accreditation for the first time, please send us an email to akkreditierung@ffmop.de including the following information:  
•    First and last name, address of your workplace, job title
•    A confirmation (PDF) of the editorial assignment to cover the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis with details of the type, scope and publication period of the planned coverage as well as the media data
•    Evidence of current articles related to film
•    Online media: information regarding the media type (e.g. website of a print medium, web portal, blog) as well as statistical data on visitor frequency (unique visitors and page views).
You will be issued a receipt of payment for your fee-based accreditation by 31 January, 2026 which is valid as an invoice.


Press accreditation includes:

Fee-based accreditation

  • Registration in the press mailing list
  • Film tickets to the screenings on site. The film program can also be streamed ONCE.
  • Ticket to the festival opening on Monday, 19 January, 2026 (seat in the secondary hall). Further information will be announced by email in January.
  • Upon availability: Ticket to the award ceremony on Saturday, 24 January, 2026 and entry to the film party.
  • Entry to the festival club Lolas Bistro.
  • Listing in the MOP Industry Overview (if requested).
  • A festival magazine.

Fee-free accreditation

  • Registration in the press mailing list.
  • Upon availability: Film tickets to the screenings on site. The film program can also be streamed ONCE.
    • This includes the stream of the festival opening on Monday, 19 January, 2026 and the award ceremony on Saturday, 24 January, 2026, 7:00 p.m.. Tickets for the events on site are not included. 
  • Entry to the festival club Lolas Bistro.
  • Listing in the MOP Industry Overview (if requested).
  • A festival magazine.


Pick-up accreditation documents
The accreditation documents will be available for you in the Festival Café from Monday, 19 January, 2026. More information on the opening hours and location of the Festival Café will follow in January.
These documents are personalized and can only be collected by a third party with a written authorization.
In addition to the accreditation documents, you will receive an email on how to access the ticket webshop with your accreditation.


Ticket purchase for cinema and industry events
Film tickets and tickets for the industry events can be acquired exclusively in the ticket webshop. You will be notified when the webshop opens via email.
