Industry accreditation

Welcome to the industry accreditation of the 48th edition of the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis! 

The accreditation period is from 1 November to 20 December, 2026, 12:00 p.m. (noon).
Accreditation is open to professionals from the film industry, representatives of film associations or film institutions as well as filmmakers.

We only offer a dual accreditation, which allows you to attend events on site and access the streaming offer on the website of the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis.

Accreditation fees for industry professionals

Regular accreditation (until 20 Dec 2026, 12.00 p.m.)	€ 85,-
Early Bird (until 20 Nov 2026, 12.00 p.m.)	€ 65,-
Discounted accreditation (for students, cinema & distribution)	€ 50,-
Last Minute (after 20 Dec 2026, 12.00 p.m.)	+ €20,-

 

Accreditation procedure for industry professionals
If you were accredited in previous years, you will be sent a personalized link to the accreditation form via email by 15 November, 2026.

When filling out the form, you will be asked to provide the following information:

• First and last name, contact details (telephone, email, address), job title or name of your educational institution
• Filmmakers: filmography and, if you have, a proof of membership of a professional association
• For your accreditation badge: A recent portrait photo in which you are clearly visible (jpg, max. size 5mb)

 

Accreditation procedure for students

If you are a student of a film school, of film and media study programs or enrolled at a Saarland university, please fill out the accreditation form here:

When filling out the form, you will be asked to provide the following information:

• First and last name, contact details (telephone, email, address), job title or name of your educational institution
• Students: certificate of enrollment
• For your accreditation badge: A recent portrait photo in which you are clearly visible (jpg, max. size 5mb)

 

Student groups
Inquiries from teachers with student groups from film schools are also welcome. Please contact the Head of Accreditation, Julia Moeseneder (akkreditierung@ffmop.de / +49 681 9068921 / +49 163 9896935).

After your accreditation request has been processed and you have been accepted, you will be sent a confirmation by email, which will include information regarding payment options. Please transfer the accreditation fee within 14 days of receiving your confirmation.

You will receive a receipt of payment via email, immediately after completing the payment process, which is valid as an invoice.

Your accreditation includes the following.

• Upon availability:
  • Film tickets to the screenings on site. The film program can also be streamed once.
  • Ticket for the festival opening (seat in the secondary hall) on Monday, 25 January, 2027 on site. Further information will be announced by email in January.
  • Ticket for the award ceremony on Saturday, 30 January, 2027 and entry to the film party.
  • Access to the industry program MOP-Industry. 
• Entry to the festival club Lolas Bistro.
• Listing in the MOP Industry Overview (if requested).
• A festival magazine.

Pick-up of accreditation documents
The accreditation documents will be available for you in the festival café from Monday, 25 January, 2027. Find the accreditation as well as the press center at the CineStar (St. Johanner Str. 61, 66115 Saarbrücken).

All documents are personalized and can only be collected by a third party with a written authorization.
In addition to the accreditation documents, you will receive an email on how to access the ticket webshop with your accreditation.

Ticket purchase for cinema and industry events
Film tickets and tickets for the industry events can be purchased exclusively in the ticket webshop. You will be notified when the webshop opens via email.
